Viva Las Vegas!!!!!

Sam surprised me for my 30th birthday (on Feb. 3) with a trip to Las Vegas last weekend (Jan. 17-Jan. 21). It was great!!!!

Sam surprised me a week before we were going to leave by telling me that she had arranged a trip for us from Thursday through Monday and that she had cleared it with my bosses so there would be no problem with me taking time off.

So this past Thursday she met me at my work and we jumped into a car service to take us to the airport. I still had no idea where I was going until we got to the ticket counter and the lady checked us in for our flight to Vegas.

We then flew to Vegas and I found I was staying at Mandalay Bay (which is a very nice hotel). We then went to bed and the next day toured around Vegas. While we were at dinner that night, I got another surprise. Sam had invited my friends Riley and Missy out to Vegas too! I was shocked to see them in the restaurant and made quite a scene when they popped up (see below). After we all had dinner, we went to gamble for a little while when low in behold another one of my friends (Tree) showed up. Again I was very surprised. We then played roulette for awhile and went to bed. The next morning Sam woke up and got me breakfast. When she came back to the hotel room she surprised me with another friend (Marc Tunick). By this time I was expecting another friend or relative around every corner but Sam said that this was the last one. We then all hung out in Vegas for the day and had a nice dinner at the Venetian that night. The next morning several people had to leave, but Sam, Marc, and I stayed around. Sam and I went to see the Blue Man Group that night and the next day we all left to go home. It was a great trip.

Another picture...this time she looks a little evil

Here was the best picture we got of our daughter from the most recent ultrasound. She is looking face on with her left arm and hand next to her head. Because this picture is zoomed in so much, it looks kinda spooky. She looked cuter on the tv screen at the ultrasound place.

It's A Girl!!!!!!!

We found out that we're having a girl! From what the doctor could see, there should be no doubt that it will be a girl. We're very excited. Most importantly, everything looked great. Baby Garvin is doing well. Will is going to post some pictures later today.
